Yes. Sorry about any confusion. For a while, I was trying to use the William name for electoral politics, and the Jack name for continuing a career in coding up software. In the present project, the two interests met.

A common tactic of the rank voting supporters is to say that cardinal system are not used anywhere.

Not sure about the specific implementation, but at least mathematically it's also equivalent to combined approval voting (i.e. -1, 0, 1).
